Here are the steps to add new product categories to organize and classify products in the system:
- Go to the dropdown menu in the system.
- Select “Products and Costs” to navigate to the products and costs list page.
- At the top of the page, you will find a set of options. Select “Product Categories”.
- On the category management page, click the “Add New Category” icon located at the top left of the page.
- Enter the name of the category you want to add.
- Click the “Save” icon to complete adding the new category.
Additional Notes:
- Categories help you organize products within groups, such as a “Fruits” category which includes products like oranges, bananas, and apples.
- The default category displays all categories added to the system, making it easier for you to review categories when adding new products.
