Configuring Product Reorder Points: Automatic Inventory Tracking, Alerts, Dashboards, and Stock Optimization

Explanation about the availability of the “product reorder point” feature, which helps you track your inventory and order products at the right time before you run out. The system gives you an automatic alert when the product reaches the minimum threshold that you set, and it is available in the Qoyod system.

Steps

  1. Go to Products and Costs

  2. Click on Edit next to the product you want to add the reorder point to

  3. In the Reorder Point field

    • Enter the quantity at which you want the system to alert you

    • Select the Location for the product

    • You can select multiple locations by clicking add more

  4. Save Changes

    • The system will automatically start monitoring your inventory

    • An alert will appear in the Dashboard when the product reaches the specified threshold

What You’ll See After Activation

  • A chart at the top of the Dashboard named Inventory Status

  • Blue: Current quantity

  • Red: Reorder point

  • Yellow: Supply quantity

Important Notes

  • You cannot hide the reorder point report individually

  • You can hide the entire Dashboard from user permissions:

    • Settings > Users > Manage Roles > Edit > Remove the “Dashboard” option
