The Product Properties feature in Qoyod allows you to create multiple properties and values for products (such as color, size, length…), link them to products for better organization, and automatically create sub-products, which helps to:
-
Improve inventory management
-
Organize products with different variations
-
Facilitate search and filtering

New Products:
-
They carry the serial number of the original product, distinguished by adding the property name next to the name, such as: “523314126186 – Red” and thus the product has an independent SKU number.
-
With the property name added next to the name
-
New products are created with quantities of zero by default.
Fifth: Redistributing Quantities (Re-classifying Product Properties)
What is Re-classification?
It is the process of transferring a quantity from the original product to the sub-products resulting from the properties (such as distributing the T-Shirt quantity between Red and Blue).

You can add multiple rows to distribute the quantity across multiple colors or sizes.
-
Click Save.
Impact After Saving
-
An automatic accounting entry is created in the journal.
-
The quantity and value of the original product decrease.
-
The quantity and value of the new product with properties increase.
-
The operation appears in Inventory Movements with the name: Re-classification.
You can access inventory movements by going to the Products and Costs menu, then clicking View next to the product, then clicking the location name, and the product movements will be displayed.
Sixth: Reversing Re-classification Operations
You can reverse a re-classification operation when needed to correct any errors in quantity distribution while maintaining inventory accuracy and accounting values, by clicking the arrow icon next to the product property re-classification operation.
Seventh: Important Notes
-
Creating properties and values does not affect inventory until they are assigned to a product.
-
Sub-products are only created after assigning a property group to the product by clicking Edit next to the product, filling in the product properties, and saving.
-
Re-classification directly affects accounting and inventory.
-
All operations are traceable through inventory movements and the journal.
Advantages
-
Better organization of products with variations.
-
More precise inventory management by color, size, and others.
-
Improved search and filtering experience within the system.
-
Reduced errors in quantity tracking.
