How to Extract a Customized Account Statement by Location (Branch) or Project
You can extract an account statement for any accounting account so that it displays only transactions linked to a specific location (branch) or project, using the filter options within the account statement report.
This report is useful if you want to know:
-
Bank movements for a specific branch
-
Expenses for a specific project
-
Revenue for a specific location
-
Account transactions linked to a project only
Before You Start: Important Points to Understand Filtering
-
All accounting transactions in the system can be linked to:
-
A location (branch / warehouse)
-
A project
-
-
Projects are optional for all transactions.
-
Locations are mandatory for transactions that depend on inventory, such as:
-
Sales invoices
-
Purchase invoices
-
-
Vouchers and manual accounting entries: linking the location or project is optional.
️ When filtering by location or project:
Any transaction that was not linked to the location or project will not appear in the report.

-
Go to Reports from the main menu.
-
Select the Account Statement report.
-
Select:
-
The desired account (for example: bank, expense, revenue).
-
The time period.
-
-
Go to Filter Type.

Additional Fields
-

-
-
Click Search.
The account statement will appear and contain only transactions:
-
Linked to the selected account
-
And linked to the specified location or project
Very Important: Why the Report Appears Empty
The report may appear empty in the following cases:
-
A filter type was selected (such as customers or projects)
without selecting a specific value next to it. -
The transactions are not linked to a location or project in the first place.
-
A time period was selected that contains no transactions.
Solution:
-
Either select the desired value next to the filter type
-
Or remove the filter type entirely and search again
How Does Filter Logic Work?
-
You can select only one filter type at a time.
-
When you select:
-
Location + Project
→ The report displays only transactions linked to both simultaneously.
-
-
Transactions linked to only one of them will not appear.
What Appears in the Account Statement?
The report displays all transactions that were reflected on the selected account, whether they resulted from:
