Clarification on the ability to modify the numbers that appear after the decimal point and whether they can be changed to three digits or more, as the system currently displays numbers with a maximum of two decimal places, and this setting cannot be changed currently.
-
Numbers are automatically rounded to two decimal places using standard mathematical rounding: if the third decimal place is 5 or more, the number rounds up, and if it is less than 5, it remains as is (example: 0.275 becomes 0.28, and 0.274 becomes 0.27)
-
There is currently no option in the settings to modify the number of decimal places
Where is rounding applied?
-
Rounding is applied to: subtotal before tax, tax amount, and total after tax
-
Calculations and rounding are performed according to ZATCA (General Authority of Zakat and Tax) requirements
-
The same rounding mechanism is applied to all documents: sales invoices, purchase invoices, quotations, and purchase orders
Important notes:
-
Work is underway to add an option to specify the number of decimal places in upcoming updates
