This article explains how to add a new task in Qoyod, the required fields, viewing a task, linking it to a project, and managing users assigned to it.
Path in Qoyod
Tasks and Projects › Tasks › Add Task
Add a new task
- From the main menu, choose “Tasks and Projects” then “Tasks”.
- Click “Add Task”.
- Fill in the required fields (see the next section).
- Click “Save”.
Task fields
- Reference Number: generated sequentially by default; you can change it.
- Task Name.
- Task Description.
- Priority: Very High, High, Medium, Low, None.
- Due Date.
- Privacy: controls whether the task is visible privately.
- Add to Project: link the task to an existing project.
- User: choose a user who can access the task.
- Attachments.
View task
When you click “View” next to a task, the page is split into:
- Task Name.
- Business Documents.
- Task Options.
Manage projects on a task
To add or remove a task from a specific project:
- Open the task from the task list.
- Click “Manage Project” at the top right of the page.
- Add or remove project links.
Manage users on a task
From the “Manage Users” button on the task page, you can add or remove the users assigned to it.
Notifications
The notifications feature alerts users when a task is assigned to them or whenever a change is made to it.
