This article explains how to customize the printed receipt header and footer in WPOS based on the needs of each branch, in addition to customizing the Credit Note.
Path in WPOS
Settings › Receipt Customization
Customizing the receipt
- Open Settings, then Receipt Customization.
- From “Choose Settings Scope”, select:
- Global: to apply the customization to all branches.
- Location: to customize a specific branch.
- Fill in the fields:
- Receipt Header: text shown at the top of the receipt (business name, address, logo, etc.).
- Receipt Footer: text shown at the bottom of the receipt (thank-you message, return policy, contact number).
- Click “Save” to save the customization.
Customizing the Credit Note
Settings › Credit Note Customization
The same steps above apply to the Credit Note:
- Credit Note Header.
- Credit Note Footer.
The Credit Note can be set the same across all branches (Global) or customized for a specific branch.
Additional options
- Save: to apply the changes.
- Cancel: to exit without saving.
- Reset to Default: to cancel all customizations and return to the default receipt.
Notes
- The header and footer appear on every receipt printed from WPOS after saving.
- Customizations made for a specific branch take priority over the global settings for that branch.
