This article explains how to change the password and PIN for a WPOS user, in addition to enabling two-factor authentication, from the Profile section in WPOS settings.

Profile section
The Profile section in WPOS shows the user’s personal information and security options:
- First Name / Last Name: first name and last name.
- Email Address: the email address linked to the account.
- Password: password (hidden), with a “change” link next to it to change it.
- Pin: PIN code (hidden), with a “change” link next to it to change it.
- Two-Factor Authentication: two-factor authentication via the Qoyod app.
Changing the password
- Open Settings, then Profile.
- Click the “change” link next to the Password field.
- Enter the current password, then the new one, and confirm it.
- Click “Save”.
Changing the PIN
- Open Settings, then Profile.
- Click the “change” link next to the Pin field.
- Enter the current PIN, then the new one, and confirm it.
- Click “Save”.
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Next to the “Two-Factor Authentication using Qoyod’s method” option, enable the feature to add an extra layer of protection at sign-in.
Security requirements
- Password: should consist of at least 8 characters, including numbers and symbols.
- PIN: avoid sequential or repeated digits.
- Do not share your credentials with anyone else.
Forgot your password
If you forget your password or PIN, contact the business manager or Qoyod support to reset it.
Notes
- Changing the password periodically is recommended for added security.
- Enabling two-factor authentication protects the account even if the password is leaked.
- Do not use the same password on other accounts outside Qoyod.
