User Location Permissions

This article explains how to set which locations a user is allowed to work on in Qoyod, whether you are adding a new user or editing the permissions of an existing one.

Why It’s Useful

This feature lets you define which locations each user can work on and view in Qoyod, while hiding the other locations from them. It strengthens administrative privacy and prevents data from different locations from mixing between users.

For an Existing User

1. From the “Settings” dropdown, select “Users”.
2. Click the “Edit” icon next to the user.
3. In the “Please select a location” field, choose the allowed location or locations.
4. Click “Save”.

For a New User

1. From the users page, click “Add User”.
2. Fill in the new user’s details.
3. In the “Please select a location” field, choose the allowed location or locations.
4. Click “Save” to create the user.
