What is the Trial Balance
A statement that lists the account names from the general ledger, the balance of each account, and its nature (debit or credit). It is used to verify posting accuracy and surface errors by checking that both sides balance, and to review a snapshot of all account balances at a specific moment.
Filtering
The “Filter” feature lets you view the Trial Balance for a specific item:
- Customer- or supplier-specific Trial Balance: shows all accounts affected by them.
- Filter by custom fields.
- Filter by projects.
- Filter by products.
Select a single account
You can pick a single account to display in the Trial Balance from the options dropdown. You can also reveal detailed sub-accounts (customers, suppliers, employees) by enabling the matching option.
Inspect feature
The Inspect feature lets you drill into the components of the value shown in the report, including:
- Per-customer values.
- Per-supplier values.
- Branches and warehouses.
- Products and projects.
- Employees.
- Documents.
