This article explains the printing preferences in WPOS: selecting the printer, paper size, and the watermark on printed copies.
Path in WPOS
Settings › Printing Preferences
Available settings
- Default printer: the printer automatically selected for printing from this device.
- Paper size: based on the type of connected printer (thermal receipt printer or standard paper printer).
- Watermark: add a watermark to printed copies (such as “Copy” or “Draft”).
Enabling the watermark
- Open Settings, then Printing Preferences.
- Enable the “Watermarked” option.
- Enter the required watermark text.
- Click “Save”.
After enabling, the watermark appears on every receipt or document printed from WPOS.
Settings scope
The settings can be:
- Global: the same printing settings for all branches.
- Location: different for each branch (for example, one branch uses an A4 printer and another uses an 80mm thermal printer).
Notes
- The watermark is useful for distinguishing draft or unofficial copies.
- Make sure the printing settings are compatible with the type of printer connected to the device.
