This article explains how to import products in Qoyod from a ready-made Excel template, in addition to the mandatory conditions for filling in the template and the rules for uploading bundled products.

Steps
- From the dropdown menu, choose “Products and Costs.”
- At the top of the page, click “Import Products.”
- On the import products page, click to download the Excel template from Qoyod (externally created templates cannot be imported).
- Specify the number of products that will be uploaded in the window that appears.
- Fill in the details in the Excel file based on the columns indicated.
- Save the file then upload it on the import page.
Conditions for filling in the template
- Product serial number: does not exceed 25 characters.
- Product name in Arabic: no more than 100 characters.
- Product name in English: optional.
- The following fields are selected manually from the dropdown menu next to the cell only (without copy/paste or dragging cells):
- Is the product stored?
- Unit of measurement.
- Category.
- Sales account.
- Expenses account.
- Tax.
- Product type.
- Purchase or sale price inclusive of tax.
- Tax reason.
- Point of sale product.
- Selling and purchase prices: must not be left empty when the “sold” or “purchased” option is enabled, even if they are approximate prices.
- File formatting: it is prohibited to modify the font size, select cells, or delete columns.
Bundled products
When the product type is specified as “Bundled Product”:
- The main product can be uploaded with all its components in one batch.
- Components are linked to the main product via the Reference SKU column (bundled product code).
- Component quantities for each unit of the bundled product are specified via the Recipe Component Quantity column.
