This article explains how to use custom fields to analyze the income statement, balance sheet, and trial balance in Qoyod through the “Advanced Analysis” feature.

Income statement analysis
Custom fields analysis on the income statement makes it possible to see the revenues and expenses of each custom field separately (project, cost center, point of sale user, branch, etc.).
- Open “Reports” then “Income Statement.”
- Click “Advanced Analysis” in the menu at the top left.
- Specify the time period.
- Choose one of the two options (see below).
Filter type vs. dimension type
- Filter type: to get the income statement for a specific custom field or the sum of several custom fields.
- Dimension type: to get a comparison between several custom fields at the same time.
The results appear distributed across revenues and expenses for each user or branch, whether the operation came from the point of sale or from the Qoyod system directly.
Balance sheet analysis
Through “Advanced Analysis” on the balance sheet, you can review the financial position linked to a specific custom field (for example: the financial position of a particular branch).
Trial balance analysis
Through “Advanced Analysis” on the trial balance, you can see the incoming movements linked to a specific custom field.
