This article explains the fields for adding a raw material in Qoyod: unit of measurement, barcode, tax, storage settings, and the cost or expense account.

Unit of measurement
Choose the unit from the list, or add a new unit by clicking the (+) icon.
Barcode
- Manual entry: with an unlimited number of digits.
- Random generation: Qoyod generates the number automatically, downloadable as an image for printing.
- When more than one barcode exists, the first barcode is added to the “Serial Number” and the second to the “Barcode” field.
Tax
- Zero-rated tax 0%.
- Exempt from tax 0%.
- VAT 15%.
Completing the raw material data
- Is the raw material stored or not?
- Purchase price.
- Accounting account:
- If the material is stored: specify the “Cost Account.”
- If it is not stored: specify the “Expense Account.”
- A raw material is not sold separately; it is purchased to be used in manufacturing a bundled product.
Saving
Click “Save” to complete adding the raw material.
