Import Fixed Assets

This article explains how to import fixed assets in bulk in Qoyod from an Excel template.

Steps

1. From the “Fixed Assets” dropdown menu, select “Fixed Assets”.
2. Click “Import”.
3. Download the Excel template from the page.
4. Select the number of fixed assets to import.
5. Fill the template with data (see the next section).
6. Click “Import” to upload the file.

Import Template Fields

• Asset Reference Number.
• Asset Category.
• Name in Arabic.
• Name in English.
• Description (optional).
• Unit of Measure.
• Tax.
• Barcode (optional).
• Purchase Price.
• Salvage Value (optional, for depreciable assets).

File Validation

• If there are errors, the details are sent by email to correct the template and re-upload it.
• If the template is complete, the fixed assets are imported successfully and appear on the Assets page.
