Required Saudi Customer Address Fields for E-Invoicing

This article explains the Qoyod warning shown when issuing an invoice to a Saudi customer with missing address fields, under the e-invoicing requirements of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).

When the warning appears

When issuing an invoice to a customer whose business address is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, if the required address fields are missing, the system shows a warning listing the missing fields.

Required fields for a Saudi customer

  • City.
  • Postal code.
  • District (neighborhood/area).
  • Street name.
  • Building number.
  • Administrative region (governorate).

Other fields (such as the additional number) are optional.

Inline-Fix

The warning includes an inline form for filling in the missing fields:

  1. When the warning appears, the missing fields are shown in the same form.
  2. Fill them in directly without leaving the Invoice.
  3. Click “Save” to update the Customer record and complete saving the Invoice.

Fix from the Customer record

Alternatively, you can close the warning and go to the Customer record to fill in the full address details:

  1. Open Sales > Customers.
  2. Click “Edit” for the Customer.
  3. Complete the fields in the “Address” section.
  4. Save.

Notes

  • The customer address is included in the e-invoice XML file, and any missing field may cause a rejection from the Fatoora platform.
  • These requirements apply to Saudi customers only.
