This article explains how to view accounts in the Chart of Accounts in Qoyod, edit them, move them, archive them, and delete them, as well as how to restore archived accounts.

Available actions on each account
Next to each account in the Chart of Accounts, the following icons appear:
- Add: to add a sub-account (child) under the current account.
- View: to see the account details and the parent and child accounts linked to it.
- Edit: to update the account data or change its status to archived.
- Move: to move the account and place it under another parent account.
- Archive: to archive the account so it no longer appears in active lists; it is kept in the archive.
- Delete: to delete the account from the Chart of Accounts.
How to move an account
- Click the “Move” icon next to the account you want to move.
- Select the main (parent) account it will branch under.
- Choose the account type (available only at the first, second, and third levels).
- Click “Continue”.
- Confirm the move by opening “View” to check the linked parent accounts.
Viewing and restoring archived accounts
- Click “Account Archive” in the bar at the top of the Chart of Accounts page.
- The list of archived accounts appears.
- To restore an account, click the restore icon to return its status to “Active”.
