What is the Income Statement
A report that shows the results of the organization’s operations over a specific period, displaying all information related to revenues and expenses. Its main purpose is to determine the net profit or net loss.
- Revenue and expense accounts are closed at the end of the fiscal year and are not carried forward to the following year.
Display and Comparison Options
- Compare with a previous period: week, month, quarter, year.
- Specify the number of time periods to compare.
- Set the account level to display.
- Show account type only without details.
Advanced Analysis
Advanced analysis lets you display specific revenue and expense items through the Filter option:
- Custom fields: show revenues and expenses for each item separately.
- Products.
- Projects.
- Customers or Suppliers.
- Employees.
- Branches and warehouses.
Dimensions
The Dimensions feature lets you compare the organization’s performance across several items at once (custom fields, products, projects, customers), to produce more accurate financial statements.
Drill-Down Feature
The drill-down feature lets you view the details of the amounts that make up the value shown in the report: values per customer and supplier, branches and warehouses, products and projects, employees, and source documents.
