Why units of measure matter
Units of measure let you link a product to a specific unit (piece, carton, box, liter, etc.) to simplify invoicing and inventory management. They are also used later in the Unit Conversion feature, which lets you purchase a product in one unit (such as a case of water) and sell it in another (bottle or piece).
Add a new unit of measure
- From the “Products & Costs” dropdown, select “Products & Costs”.
- At the top of the page, click “Units of Measure”.
- The page shows the units already available in Qoyod, plus any units the user has added.
- Click “Add Unit of Measure” at the top of the screen.
- Enter the new unit details.
- Click “Save”.
Edit or delete a unit of measure
Next to each unit on the page you will find edit and delete icons. Use them to update the unit details or remove it.
