A guide to the WPOS (Web POS) settings sections in Qoyod, and how to customize the settings for each branch independently.
Accessing the settings
WPOS › Settings
Settings sections
- Profile: name, email, change password and PIN, enable two-factor authentication.
- General Settings: language, time zone, general preferences for running WPOS.
- Printing Preferences: printing preferences and watermark on printed copies.
- Receipt Customization: receipt header and footer, custom wording.
- Credit Note Customization: Credit Note header and footer.
- Transaction Defaults: default payment method, tax and discount settings.
Settings Scope
Each settings section supports a “Choose Settings Scope” option that determines whether the settings are:
- Global: applied to all branches.
- Custom: different for each location/branch.
Each section is managed independently, so for example “Receipt Customization” can be specific to a particular branch while “General Settings” are global across all branches.
Saving changes
In any section, the available buttons are:
- Save: to apply the changes.
- Cancel: to exit without saving.
- Reset to Default: to cancel all customizations and return to Qoyod’s default settings.
Unsaved Changes alert
- When trying to exit a section without saving the changes, the system shows an “Unsaved Changes” alert that requests confirmation before leaving.
