This article explains how to use the Qoyod Point of Sale app on Android devices: signing in, the main screens, and issuing Invoices.
App requirements
- Runs on Android version 7 and above.
- Supports working offline, provided that data has been synced beforehand over an internet connection so all records are visible.
Sign-in
- Sign in using your Qoyod account credentials (for users with Point of Sale enabled).
- If you have more than one organization, select the one you want.
- Enter the 4-digit PIN (set during your first sign-in).
Main screens in the app
1. Invoices
Displays the list of Point of Sale Invoices for the location the user is authorized to work on.
- Search: by Point of Sale number, invoice number, Customer name, or product.
- Filter: Paid, Partially paid, Unpaid.
- Preview: shows the reference number, issue date, Customer name, Customer number, product list, subtotal before tax, VAT, and total after tax.
2. New Invoice
Displays all products and items added in the organization, with the quantities available at the selected location.
- Filter products by category.
- Search by name, barcode, or serial number.
- Select a product by scanning the barcode with the camera or a barcode reader.
- Add a product to the Invoice with one tap; double-tap to open the Cart and edit quantity or price.
3. Settings
Covers the local Point of Sale app settings on the device.
