This article explains the devices supported by the Qoyod Point of Sale app (printers and cash drawers), printing features, and how to add and manage printers.
Supported printers
- EPSON TM-M30: connects via Ethernet.
The system supports multiple printers connected at the same time, so you can separate receipt printers from kitchen order printers, for example.
Core printing features
Automatic printing
Enabled by default: the receipt is printed automatically after the transaction is confirmed, with no extra steps. You can disable it or change its behavior from Point of Sale settings.
Advanced printer management (add and edit)
A unified screen to add a new printer or edit the list.
Required input fields
- Printer brand: a list of supported brands, including brands not auto-detected.
- Printer model: a dropdown filtered by the selected brand.
Optional controls
- Printer name (optional): assign an easily recognizable name.
- Allow automatic printing after save: toggle for the default printing behavior.
- Cash drawer support: toggle that controls whether the cash drawer opens automatically when a receipt is printed for cash transactions.
Connection check and verification
- Test print: a button to verify the connection and print process using the current template.
- Connection status: shown for the selected printer.

When “Epson” is selected as the brand, the system provides dedicated support with automatic model and settings verification.
