Qoyod Compliance Alerts: Overview of the 10 Alerts

Compliance alerts are a set of checks Qoyod runs on the invoice before it is sent to the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), to warn you of any missing or incorrect data and reduce the risk of rejection. This article explains the types of these alerts and gathers links to their detailed guides.

Alert types

  • Mandatory: the invoice cannot be saved or submitted until the required field is completed, a requirement from the authority.
  • Warning: a high probability of rejection, shown prominently and not blocking saving, but correcting it before submission is strongly advised.
  • Guidance: a non-blocking alert that guides you to correct the data while letting you proceed.

Notes

  • Compliance alerts are enabled automatically, with no setup required, and appear while creating or saving the invoice.
  • The alerts aim to reduce the risk of invoice rejection by catching missing or incorrect data early, not to guarantee acceptance.
  • Qoyod keeps pace with the authority’s updates and adds new checks automatically, which you can follow on the Qoyod updates page.
