Solving the Problem of Missing Data in Invoices When Printing or Exporting
Problem Description
When printing an invoice or exporting it as a PDF, some data may not appear such as:
- Product price
- Tax amount
- Product name (in Arabic or English)
- Customer name
- Due date
- Delivery date
- Terms and conditions
- Any other data
Reason: This data has not been added to the invoice designer
Solution Steps
Step 1: Access Invoice Settings
- Go to Settings ← General Settings
- Click on Sales Invoice Settings
Step 2: Open the Invoice Designer
Click on “Open Tax Invoice Designer” or “Open Simplified Tax Invoice Designer” located at the bottom of the page
Step 3: Verify Missing Data and Add It
- Check for missing data
- Click on ( … ) located to the left of the toolbar
- Add any data you want.
Step 4: Save Changes
After adding all required data, click “Save”
Examples of Data That May Be Missing and Where to Find Them
- Product price ← Add “Unit Price” from the Rows section
- Product quantity / Number ← Add “Quantity” from the Rows section
- Product name (Arabic / English) ← Add “Product Name” from the Product Details section
- Customer name ← Add “Name” from the Party section
- Customer phone number ← Add “Primary Phone” from the Party section
- Invoice due date ← Add “Due Date” from the Document Details section
- Invoice description ← Add “Description” from the Document Details section

Example: If you want to add a statement not found in the basic options, such as product expiration date, you can create it as an additional field and it will appear among the additional field options in the designer
⚠️ Important Note: The Difference Between Tax Invoice and Simplified Invoice
If you added data in the designer and it does not appear when printing, make sure you are editing in the correct designer:
- If the customer has a tax number ← The invoice is tax ← Edit from the Tax Invoice Designer
- If the customer does not have a tax number ← The invoice is simplified ← Edit from the Simplified Invoice Designer
Make sure to edit both designers if you are dealing with both types of customers
