The supplier export file (Excel) now includes each supplier’s balance and their additional fields, so you no longer need to add them by hand after exporting.
What is new in the export file
- Each supplier’s balance appears in the file on that supplier’s row.
- The additional fields set up for each supplier appear in the file as well.
What has not changed
- All existing columns in the export file stay exactly as they are. The new columns are added at the end of the file.
- The export still applies the filters that are active when the file is created, as it does today.
Who it is for
Accountants who prepare supplier reports or financial reconciliations outside the system, and businesses that track extra details for each supplier and need them in one file alongside the balance. Instead of exporting the list and then adding the balance and additional fields for every supplier by hand, you get a ready file the first time.
The update is available now when you export supplier data from Purchases, then Suppliers.
