Track Invoice Profit Using Custom Fields and Income Statement Report

You can easily view the profit of each invoice through sales invoices.

You can link each invoice to a custom field and view its profits from the income statement report.

Steps

1. Add an invoice profit field

   • Go to Settings.

   • Select Additional Fields.

   • Select Sales Invoices.

   • Add a text field named Invoice Profit.

   • When creating the invoice, enter the invoice number in this field.

2. View invoice profit

   • Go to Reports.

   • Select the Income Statement report.

   • Click Advanced Analysis next to the report.

   • Select the Invoice Profit field in the filter type.

   • Select the desired invoice number in the field next to it.

   • Click Search.

   • It will show you the invoice profit directly.

Important Notes

• Enter the correct invoice number in the designated field so the profit displays accurately.
