How to Use the POS App: Download, Installation, Printer Setup, Web Access, and Troubleshooting

You can use the app on any device capable of installing it from:

• Google Play Store

• Huawei Store

• Sunmi Store

If the device can install the app, you can use it normally.

You can also use POS on your computer via the web officially by logging into your facility, and you’ll find the “POS” option in the dropdown menu.

Printer Connection:

• You must manually select the printer from the settings inside the app.

• Automatic connection like before is not possible.

  

  

Supported Printer Types:

• On regular devices: The app displays printers that the device recognizes.

• On Sunmi devices: The app displays a list of Sunmi printers, and the user selects the printer they purchased. You can select the printer and model you prefer to print invoices and receipts easily.

The printer can be connected in one of two ways:

1. Connect the printer to the router via an Ethernet cable, and connect the POS device or tablet to the same network via Wi-Fi.

2. Connect the printer and POS device or tablet to the same Wi-Fi network directly, without using an Ethernet cable.

Note: Bluetooth connection is not supported.

Additional Notes:

• Restarting the app after an update helps stabilize the app and printer connection

• The app does not work on iOS and is not available on the App Store for iPhone devices
