Why Your Printer Won’t Connect to the POS Device in Qoyod: Causes and Step-by-Step Solutions

Possible reasons for the printer not connecting to the POS device and the message appearing that the printer is not connected:

  1. The device is not officially recognized:

    • If the device is a Sunmi type but is not officially supported by STC or Qoyod, it may encounter connection issues.
  2. A problem with the device itself:

    • You may need to restart the device or perform a reset.
  3. Network settings:

    • Network settings may prevent the connection. Check that there is no block on the network.
  4. The application is not updated to the latest version
  • You should continuously check that the Qoyod POS application is updated to the latest version

Steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Verify that the device is officially supported by Qoyod or STC.
  2. Verify that the application is updated to the latest version from the store.
  3. Restart the application after ensuring unsynced invoices are synchronized.
  4. Clear the application cache.
