Step-by-step instructions for returning a registered asset and archiving it by creating a debit note linked to a purchase invoice.
Return a Registered Asset and Archive It via Debit Note

Access Purchase Invoices:
- From the Purchases dropdown menu, select Purchase Invoices.

Create a Debit Note:
- Click on Debit Notifications at the top of the page.
- Select Create Debit Note +.

Select the Original Invoice:
- After selecting the original invoice, open the dropdown menu for registered assets.
- Select the asset you want to return.

Fill in Additional Information:
- Enter all required information in the available fields.
- Click Save, then Approve to complete the process.
Result of Action:
- Once the debit note is approved, the asset will be automatically archived by going to Fixed Assets and then clicking on the asset classification, where you can view the archived asset through the Archived Assets tab.
