How to Fix the Missing Add Button and Invoice Creation Options Due to Permissions or Expired Subscription

Diagnostic Question Before the Solution: Before proposing any solution, ask the customer: “Please confirm for me: Is your organization’s subscription currently active or expired? You can check this by going to Settings, then Subscription Settings.” Don’t assume the cause from the first response.

After the response: If the subscription is active ← The issue is permissions. If it’s expired ← The problem is with the subscription. If it’s active and permissions are enabled but the button is still hidden ← Request the organization name and number and transfer to a specialist.

The missing option to add a new invoice, new voucher, or new accounting entry is usually due to one of two reasons:

Possible Causes

  1. You Don’t Have Permission to Add
    • Go to Settings > Users > Manage Roles
    • Select “Edit” next to the role
    • Ensure that the “Create” permission is enabled for the required operation
    • If you cannot edit, contact the main user or any user with higher permissions
  2. Your Subscription Has Expired and the Grace Period Has Ended
    • The system prevents adding any new operations if the subscription has not been renewed
