Steps to Add a Descriptive Text for the Product in the Invoice
Step 1: Create a New Invoice
Go to Sales ← Invoices ← New Invoice
Step 2: Add the Product
Add the required product in the invoice line items
Step 3: Write the Description
You will find the “Description” field appearing directly next to the product name

Write the clarification or details you want to display

The text is optional and you are not required to write anything

You can modify it for each invoice independently even if it is the same product
Step 4: Save the Invoice
Complete the rest of the invoice data and then click “Save”
Where Does the Description Appear After Saving?
The description you wrote will appear in:

Invoice preview within the system

PDF version when exporting the invoice

Printing (according to the invoice template used in the invoice designer and will appear if the description code has been added in the design)

The description field does not affect the price or accounting entries, it is only for clarification purposes

You can write a different description for the same product in each invoice without any impact on the original product data
