Confirmation Window Freezes When Saving Manual Journal Entry and Entry Is Not Saved

Message Clarification

The message “” Please confirm the entered data. It will not be saved if the provided data is incomplete or incorrect from an accounting perspective “” is a mandatory message that always appears when saving any manual entry. Its sole purpose is only to emphasize verifying the accuracy of data before saving. It cannot be disabled or deactivated.

Gradual handling, don’t discharge all steps at once:

In the first message: only clarify that the confirmation message is mandatory and normal, then ask just one question: “After you click OK, does the entry save normally?” Do not mention troubleshooting steps or trying another browser or adding a support user unless the customer confirms there is an actual issue.

Only if the customer confirms that the entry does not save or the window freezes (follow the steps in order, each step in a separate message based on the customer’s response)

  1. Ask the customer to try a different browser (for example, Edge if they’re using Chrome or vice versa).

  2. If the issue persists in another browser, collect the following information from the customer:

    • Business/Facility number

    • Business/Facility name

  4. After collecting the data and adding the support user, transfer the conversation to a staff member for technical follow-up.
