You can identify invoices that are not assigned to a project or cost center in two ways depending on your needs, either from the reports or from the invoice pages themselves.
First Method: From Reports
To check customer invoices on projects:
-
Go to Reports
-
Select Account Statement
-
From the accounts, choose Debtors
-
From the filter options, select Customers and choose the required customer
-
All the customer’s invoices will be displayed, and you will see a column named Project
-
If the column is empty, the invoice is not assigned to a project
To check supplier invoices on projects:
-
Go to Reports
-
Select Account Statement
-
From the accounts, choose Creditors
-
From the filter options, select Suppliers and choose the required supplier
-
All the supplier’s invoices will be displayed, and you will see a column named Project
-
If the column is empty, the invoice is not assigned to a project
To check invoices on cost centers:
There is no direct report showing them
You need to open the invoice manually and check if a cost center has been assigned or not
Second Method: From Invoice and Document Pages
-
Go to:
-
Sales invoices or
-
Quotes or
-
Creditor and debtor notices or
-
Purchase orders or
-
Purchase invoices
-
-
From the filter options, in the Projects field select Undefined
-
Documents that don’t have a project linked will be displayed for you
The system checks for the existence of the project at either the document level or in one of the line items
Data Export:
You can export the data manually and save it as a reference:
-
From the report or invoices page, click on Export
-
Save the file in Excel or PDF format
-
Repeat the process for any report or section you need
