Can I use custom fields on previous invoices?

Clarifying the ability to use new custom fields on invoices and previous and new documents in Qoyod, whether they are draft or approved.

The Answer:

  1. When adding a new custom field in any section (Sales, Purchases, Manual Journal Entries, Vouchers, etc.):

    • The user can use this field on previous and new invoices.

  2. To use the field on previous invoices:

    • Go to the required documents page (such as Sales Invoices or Purchase Invoices or Manual Journal Entries).

    • Click on View next to the required invoice.

    • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Additional Information.

    • Fill in the required field and then click on Save.

  3. Custom fields can also be added to other documents using the same method.

Additional Notes:

  • Make sure to save the changes after filling in the custom fields to ensure they are reflected in the reports.

  • Custom fields can be filled in invoices in all their states (draft or approved).

  • After filling in the fields on previous invoices, you can filter the documents based on these fields from the filter options, as well as export the results to Excel.

  • Custom fields can be used in Advanced Analysis within financial reports such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Trial Balance.
