What Are Salary Receipts and How to View and Download Them from Payroll or the Employee Page

Guidelines on using the payroll receipts feature and its importance in displaying financial data to employees.

  1. Purpose of the payroll receipts feature:

    • It is used to display salary and accrual details before payment, and includes:
      • Name and month.
      • Accruals (base salary, allowances, bonuses).
      • Deductions (advances, absences, savings funds).
  2. Accessing payroll receipts:

    • From the Payroll dropdown menu and then Payroll Runs, select “Payroll Receipts” from the top options.
    • After adding employees and creating the payroll run, you can view the receipts.
  3. Receipt components:

    • Employee name.
    • Time period (month).
    • Details of accruals and deductions.
    • Total after deductions.
  4. Viewing and downloading the receipt:

    • Click View to review the data.
    • To download the receipt, click Download PDF.
  5. Other ways to view payroll receipts:

    • From the Employees page:
      • Select the employee and click View, you will find the salary receipt within the details.
    • From Employee Vouchers:
      • Search for the receipt by reference.
    • From Reports:
      • Select Employee Statement Report to review financial transactions.
