Adding New Users and Managing Roles, Permissions, and Subscription Limits

Adding a new user to the accounting software, follow the steps below to complete the process successfully:

Steps:

1. Navigate to Settings

   • From the dropdown menu, select Settings.
   • Then select Users.

2. Manage Positions (if needed)

   • If no position has been added previously, click on Manage Positions from the top options.
   • Select New Position.
   • Enter the position name.
   • Select the required permissions.
   • Click Agree.

3. Add a New User

   • Go back to Settings then Users.
   • Click Add New User.

4. Enter User Information

   • Enter the first name and last name.
   • Enter the mobile number.
   • Enter the email address.
   • Select the position that was added previously.
   • Select the locations that the user can access and work in.
   • Select the accounts that the user is allowed to pay from (such as bank account or cash).
     Note: If no account is selected, it will not appear to the user when creating vouchers.
   • Set the maximum discount percentage that the user can add to invoices.

5. Save Changes

   • Click Save.
   • An email will be sent to the new user containing login details for the system.

Important Notes

• Make sure to enter the email address correctly to ensure login details reach the user.
• If some options such as Manage Positions do not appear, check the permissions of your user account.
• Make sure you have sufficient permissions to add a user.
• If you see a message “You have exceeded the allowed limit” when adding a new user, it means you have exceeded the number of users allowed in your plan and you need to add another user within your subscription. You can verify your plan type and add new users through Settings and then Subscription Settings.
