Qoyod Web POS 2.7.0 adds two features: a Dashboard page that shows your sales, profit and VAT for a chosen period against the period before it, and a Taxes tab in settings to add and edit your taxes without opening the accounting system.
Dashboard
Pick a period and see how the business did on one page, without pulling numbers from one report after another.
- The period’s numbers: total sales, net sales, profit, margin, transactions, refunds and VAT.
- Each period compared with the one before it, with its sales trend.
- Top products, and sales by each user.
- Drill-down from any number into the details behind it.
- Profit flags products that have no cost recorded.
- The dashboard can be scoped to one location.
How to use the Dashboard
- Open the Dashboard page in Web POS.
- Choose the period you want to review.
- To follow one branch, choose its location.
- Click any number, product or user to see the details.
Tax management
A new Taxes tab in settings, where you add, edit and delete the taxes your products use, each with a tax code and rate.
- Open Settings, then the Taxes tab.
- Add a new tax, enter its code and rate, then save.
- To edit or delete a tax, choose it from the list.
Good to know
- Profit is calculated from product cost, so the dashboard flags any product with no cost recorded. Record its cost to see its profit and margin accurately.
- A tax that products or documents still use can’t be deleted. This keeps past invoices and products from losing their tax.
Permissions
Each feature comes with its own permission in roles: Dashboard for the dashboard page and Tax management for the Taxes tab, so each shows only to users who hold it. Roles are set up in POS User Management from Inside Settings.
Who this update is for
Store owners and branch managers who want to know how a period went from the POS itself: how much you sold, how much you made, which product sells most and which cashier sells most, and who need to set up taxes without opening the accounting system. And accountants who want the period’s VAT and refunds in one place.
