You can now enter a reference number of up to 50 characters, instead of 25, on business documents in Qoyod, including sales invoices, credit and debit notes, purchase invoices, purchase orders and quotations.
Where the new limit applies
The limit applies the same way whenever a document is created or edited, whether inside Qoyod or through the API, so you can use longer numbering schemes that match your internal systems or the platforms connected to Qoyod, without operations being rejected because of the number’s length.
What stays the same
- A reference number is made of letters and digits, and it can also use the hyphen (-) and the underscore (_).
- A reference number ends with a digit.
- A reference number is not repeated within the same document type.
- If you leave the reference number empty, Qoyod generates one automatically, as usual.
Who this update is for
It is for businesses whose internal numbering is long because it combines a branch code, a year or a transaction type in one number, and businesses that bring documents into Qoyod from another system or platform connected to Qoyod through the API and want each document to keep the same number in both systems.
The new limit is now active on business documents.
