Why can’t the opening entry be edited?
When trying to edit an opening entry, the edit option may not appear, or the system may not allow you to make any changes.
The reason depends on the type of opening entry.

How to edit the opening entry for accounts, customers, and suppliers:

After adding the opening entry, it will appear when you go to Accounting

Then go to “Manual accounting entries”

You will see a list of accounting entries, and the opening entry will appear among them with the description “Opening balances”
