Guidelines on How to Add a Bank or Cash Account in Qoyod
To be able to make payments and collect through them.
Procedures to Follow
If you have a cash, bank, or credit card account and want to add it to Qoyod, you can do so through the following steps
Navigate to the Chart of Accounts
- Go to the Accounting section, then select Chart of Accounts.
- Click on Add Account from the top.
Select Account Type
- Choose the main account type, such as Cash in Treasury account.
- If the account is at the third level or higher, the account type will be added automatically.
Enter Details
- Register the account name in Arabic and English (for example, Muhammad’s Box).
- The code will be determined automatically.
- The description (if any) can be added.
- Enable the option “Payment and collection can be made through this account” to be able to use the account for payment and collection.
- Click on Save.
Additional Method
You can also add accounts by branching the account
- Go to the account you want to branch (for example, Bank Cash account).
- Click the + next to it.
- Fill in the required data and enable the option “Payment and collection can be made through it” if you want to use it directly.
- Click Save.

Additional Notes
- Make sure to enable the option “Payment and collection” if you want to use the account directly for payment and collection.
- Adding a bank account is done as registering an account in the chart of accounts and not as an automatic connection with the bank for direct operations or automatic retrieval of transactions.
