Deleting a Location: Verification and Permission Management

Instructions on how to delete locations in the system after verifying that there are no transactions associated with it.

Yes, you can delete the location after verifying that there are no transactions or operations associated with it. Follow these steps:

  1. Verify Recorded Transactions:

    • Click the “View” icon next to the location to verify the recorded transactions that were made on this location.
  2. Ensure No Linked Transactions:

    • Ensure that there are no transactions or activities related to the location in the system.
  3. Delete the Location:

    • After ensuring that there are no transactions associated with the location, a “Delete” icon will appear next to the location.
    • Click the “Delete” icon to complete the operation.
  4. If there are transactions on the location and you don’t want to add more transactions and cannot delete it
  • In this case, you can remove the location permission from users
  • Go to Settings, then Users
  • Click Edit next to the user and remove the location from the locations.
    Note that the permission will remain only for the primary user of the location.
  • Click Save.
