Why the ‘Quantity Unavailable’ Message Appears When Adding Products to Sales Invoices and How to Verify Stock in the Correct Location

Clarification regarding the message about product quantity not being available when adding a product to a sales invoice. This may be due to the quantity not being available at the correct location from which the sale is being made. To verify the available quantity:

  1. Go to Products & Costs menu.
  2. Click on View next to the product you’re having an issue with.
  3. You will see the available quantity at each location where the product is stored. Make sure the quantity is available at the location from which you are selling.

Additional notes:

  • If the quantity is not available at the correct location, you can update the quantity or transfer inventory between locations through the system.
