First: What is the Tax Sales Invoices Report?
The Tax Sales Invoices Report is a financial report that allows the business to view all sales invoices issued during a specified period, with a focus on Value Added Tax (VAT) data for each invoice.
Second: What exactly does the report display?
When generating the report, the following data appears for each invoice:
Invoice Reference
The invoice number in the system
Invoice Description
The description associated with the invoice.
Customer Name
The customer name associated with the invoice.
Customer Name
The customer name associated with the invoice.
Customer Tax Number
The tax number registered with the customer, if available.
Issue Date
The date on which the invoice was created, used to determine the tax period.
Due Date
The date by which the customer must pay the amount, used to track outstanding payments.
Invoice Total
The total invoice value before tax.
Tax Total
The Value Added Tax amount calculated automatically based on the tax rate applied to the product or service.
At the bottom of the report, a totals row appears: the total invoices and total tax for all displayed invoices based on the applied filters.
Third: Report Filtering and Search Options
You can narrow the report results using the following filters:
1) Time Period
Specify a date range: from date ← to date. The report in the image displays the period from 01-04-2026 to 31-05-2026.
2) Customer Type
The system allows you to filter invoices to display only regular customer invoices, only government customer invoices, or both by enabling or disabling the option “Exclude government customer invoices”.
3) Reviewed Invoices
A filter to display all invoices or exclude returned ones by enabling or disabling the option “Exclude returned invoices” from the filter options.
Fourth: Why do some invoices appear in the Tax Sales Invoices Report with a tax total = 0.00?
If an invoice appears with zero tax value, this means the products or services on the invoice are not subject to tax and the tax on them is 0.
Fifth: Exporting the Report
You can export the report in two formats: PDF or Excel, using the “Export” option below the report.
