How to Create and Match Product SKUs Between Qoyod and Salla to Ensure Linking Accuracy

Guidelines on defining the product serial number, how to create it, and ensuring it matches between Qoyod and Salla

1. What is a Serial Number?

  • A serial number is a unique identifier for a product, typically consisting of letters and numbers.

  • It appears on the product label or device and is used to distinguish each unit from another.

2. Creating the Serial Number in Salla

  • When adding a new product in Salla, the serial number is automatically created by the system.

  • However, the product must also contain a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) to properly manage inventory and sales.

3. Products Previously Registered in Qoyod

  • If products already exist in Qoyod, you must ensure that the serial number in Qoyod matches the SKU in Salla.

  • This ensures proper synchronization between the two systems and prevents any discrepancies in inventory or invoices.

4. Ensuring Product Names Match

  • It is preferable that product names match between Qoyod and Salla to ensure easy review and data accuracy.

5. Additional Notes

  • If products are manually added in Qoyod, ensure that you enter the serial number correctly to match the SKU in Salla.

  • Always verify that serial numbers match between the two systems to avoid synchronization or return issues.
