A new update has landed for the Qoyod POS app, combining a quieter interface, broader printer support, and tighter control over returns. Most of it came straight from feedback our customers shared during daily use.
A clearer interface with fewer interruptions
We unified the in-app notification system, so messages now appear in one consistent place. We also cut down the number of pop-ups that interrupt the cashier mid-sale.
Main screens now make full use of tablets and large displays, with an expanded layout that shows more information at once. Arabic screens are fully right-to-left aligned, and the payment buttons on the checkout screen have a clearer design.
Easier printer setup over Bluetooth
The app can now discover Epson and Sunmi printers automatically. We added inline guidance on connection requirements inside the add-printer and edit-printer screens, which cuts down the common setup mistakes. We also fixed an issue that prevented printer discovery on some devices.
More accurate credit notes
When you create a credit note, the app now verifies that the returned quantity for each line does not exceed the original quantity on the linked invoice. That prevents returns larger than what was actually sold, and keeps inventory balances and accounts accurate.
PDF report downloads
Reports can now be downloaded directly as PDF from the reports list, ready to share or archive without extra steps.
Clearer sync progress and stability
The organization data loading screen now shows sync progress for each data type separately, instead of a single generic loading indicator. We also fixed an issue that caused the sync to run endlessly on the passcode entry screen.
