Improved Customer Address Validation for E-Invoicing

June 15, 2026

We’ve improved the customer create/edit form to make sure address data is complete in line with ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) requirements.

What changed?

When e-invoicing (Phase 2) is enabled and Saudi Arabia is set as the customer’s country (via Add/Edit Customer), the following fields are now mandatory in both the billing address and the shipping address:

  • Street
  • City
  • District

The maximum character limit for these fields has also been updated to match the standard adopted by ZATCA (127 characters).

Why this update?

Missing or incomplete address data triggers warnings when e-invoices are submitted to the ZATCA platform. This update prevents those warnings at the source, before the invoice is issued.

What should you do?

If you use e-invoicing, we recommend reviewing your existing customers’ data and making sure the Street, City, and District fields are complete in both the billing and shipping addresses.
