A club has many activities, and each has its own price and revenue account.
Whether your club is exempt from the invoicing mandate today or required to issue invoices, its memberships, academies, pitches and purchases have clear figures, in one set of books.
Accounting software for sports clubs in Jordan starts with one question: how much has each activity in your club brought in, how much do the schools and companies you bill on account still owe you, and how much do you owe your coaches and suppliers? In clubs from Amman to Irbid and Aqaba the numbers are spread across a membership ledger, academy sheets and maintenance and coach invoices. Add each activity you sell to Qoyod as a service item with its price, tax and revenue account, whether a membership, an academy programme or a pitch hire.
1. A day in a sports club
Before you choose accounting software for your sports club, look at where your numbers sit today: activity prices, the balances of clients who settle at the end of term, coach invoices and the club’s equipment.
Activities with scattered prices
A membership, an academy and a pitch hire each have a price in a file, and all the income lands on one line.
With Qoyod: enter each activity as a service item with its price, and link it to its revenue account.
A school that pays at the end of term
A school or company uses your pitches all term and pays weeks later, and its balance sits in a side notebook.
With Qoyod: record the credit invoice and each partial payment against it, and read what each customer still owes in the customer statement.
A coach and a repair, both waiting
The coach’s fee is in a message, and the pool maintenance invoice is in a drawer.
With Qoyod: record each as a purchase invoice under its supplier, and follow that supplier’s balance and what you have paid.
Equipment that lasts for years
You buy the club’s machines and gear once, and their value sits in a file that cannot tell you how much is left.
With Qoyod: record them as fixed assets through a purchase invoice, and follow their depreciation and book value.
2. An activity’s journey through your club
An activity you price, an invoice you issue and a coach you pay: five stops that each add a number to the journey card.
Stop 1: An activity with its price
The activity is added to Qoyod as a service with a default selling price and a revenue account, and with a code of its own. A service is not stored and not purchased.
Stop 2: A payment before the invoice
If the customer pays before the invoice, record the amount as a receipt voucher in their name with no invoice. It shows as unused until you allocate it to a sales invoice.
Stop 3: The invoice is issued
Issue the sales invoice, cash or credit, with a quantity and a price on every line, allocate the receipt voucher to it, and see what has been collected and what the customer still owes.
Stop 4: A coach and a supplier
Record the coach’s fee and the pool maintenance invoice as two purchase invoices, each under its own supplier, so whatever you have not paid stays on that supplier’s balance.
Stop 5: The revenue shows
The revenue of each activity appears in the income statement, by the revenue account you linked it to, from the preset reports in Qoyod.
3. Accounting Software for Sports Clubs in Jordan: what Qoyod covers in your club
E-invoicing and accounting, integrated in one system. Here are six more jobs Qoyod covers in your sports club.
Activities with their prices and revenue accounts
Enter each activity you sell, such as a membership, an academy programme or a pitch hire, as a service with a default selling price and a revenue account, and edit the price on the invoice when it differs. Each service’s tax is set on its card, according to what applies to it.
Invoices on a schedule you set
With the Recurring Transactions feature, Qoyod creates sales invoices at intervals you set, and you choose the status of the invoice it creates: draft, pending approval or approved.
Accounts for schools and companies
Credit sales to the schools and companies you work with are recorded in Qoyod, and their balances sit in the customer statement and the customer ageing report. More detail in our guide to collecting a credit invoice in JoFotara.
Coaches, maintenance and rent
Record coach fees, maintenance invoices and rent as purchase invoices, and follow each supplier’s balance and your payments to it.
Club equipment as fixed assets
Record equipment as a fixed asset through a purchase invoice, follow its depreciation and book value, and pull the fixed assets register.
The club shop and its drinks
Enter what the club sells, such as sportswear and drinks, as items with a purchase price and a selling price, and follow each item’s balance. The product cost and margin report shows each item’s cost and margin, and the cost it shows is the average cost.
4. Sports clubs and the National Invoicing System
Discuss your club’s position with your accountant.
Who must use e-invoicing in Jordan
Whether your club is exempt from the invoicing mandate or required to issue invoices, Qoyod keeps the books for your services, purchases and cash, and it is integrated with the National Invoicing System (JoFotara) for when you need it.
5. Your accountant shares the decision
If your club has an accountant or an accounting firm, hear their view on the software before you decide. “Is my activity exempt from the invoicing mandate?” is a question for your accountant and the Department. The books belong in Qoyod.

7. Frequently asked questions
Does a sports club have to issue invoices through the National Invoicing System (JoFotara)?
The e-invoicing mandate covers every seller of goods or provider of services, not only those registered for General Sales Tax, except for activities that the Invoicing Affairs Instructions exempt under set conditions. A seller that is not registered issues an income invoice. Mandatory application has been in force since 1 April 2025, with oversight steadily tightening. Other sectors were added to the list in Article (4) of the Invoicing Affairs Instructions by later amendments, so it is not a closed list. Check the text in force for your activity with the Income and Sales Tax Department.

If a business is not required to issue invoices, does that mean it pays no sales tax?
Not by itself. An exemption from the provisions of the Invoicing Regulation, where one applies, does not on its own exempt anyone from General Sales Tax or income tax, each of which has its own law. Check your tax position with your accountant.
How do I add my club’s activities and their prices to Qoyod?
Each activity is added as a product of the type “service”, with a default selling price and a sales account, which is the revenue account linked to the service, and it needs no purchase price. A service is not stored, and it is used on sales invoices, quotations and credit notes. You can also pick its unit of measure, such as the hour for a pitch hire.
Can I set a special price for each school or company?
No. Qoyod does not offer custom price lists or a price per customer. The price you enter for a service is a default; you can edit the line price on the invoice, or set up the agreed activity as its own service with its own price.
Can I create sales invoices at regular intervals?
Yes, for sales invoices: Qoyod has a Recurring Transactions feature that creates sales invoices on a schedule you set, and you choose the status of the invoice it creates: draft, pending approval or approved. What concerns the member personally, such as renewing or freezing a membership, collecting its fees and entry to the club, is not shown here, so ask sales what suits your club.
Does Qoyod manage pitch and class booking, or coaches paid a share of sessions?
Qoyod is accounting software. This page shows invoices, balances, purchases, fixed assets and the preset reports. Pitch and class booking, coaches paid a share of sessions and payment plans in parts are outside what we show here, so ask sales what suits your club.
That completes the club’s accounts: its activities and their prices, the balances of the schools and companies it bills on account, its coaches’ invoices and its equipment.
