Accounting Software for Hospitals in Jordan

Several stores, many suppliers, services with their prices, all in one set of books.

Whether your hospital is exempt from the invoicing mandate today or required to issue invoices, its stores, suppliers and services have clear figures, in one set of books.

Accounting software for hospitals in Jordan starts with one question: how much do you still owe your suppliers of supplies, and how much do the companies you bill on account still owe you? In hospitals from Amman to Irbid the numbers are spread across supplier statements, store balances and service prices. Add each service you provide to Qoyod as a service item with its price and tax, each supply you buy as a product with its code and purchase price, and each store or branch as a location.

1. A day in a hospital

Before you choose accounting software for your hospital in Jordan, look at where your numbers sit today: stores with a balance of their own, suppliers with a statement of their own, and companies that pay in parts.

An item runs out before anyone asks

A box of dressings runs out in the branch store, and nobody knows until a department needs it.

With Qoyod: give every item a reorder level per location, and watch stock status on the dashboard.

A main store and a branch store

The order reaches the main store, and the branch asks how much of it is theirs.

With Qoyod: set up each store or branch as a location, move supplies between locations, and see each item’s balance in every location.

Many suppliers, many statements

Supplies from one supplier and tools from another, and each supplier’s statement shows its own numbers.

With Qoyod: every supplier’s balance and your payments to it come together in one place, and the supplier ageing report shows what you owe.

Companies that pay in parts

A company deals with you on account and pays in parts, and its balances are scattered across several books.

With Qoyod: log the credit sale and then each partial payment, and find what each company still owes in its customer statement.

2. An invoice’s journey through your hospital

From buying supplies to seeing the revenue, five stops that each add a number to the journey card.

Stop 1: Supplies arrive

The supplies arrive with a purchase invoice made out to the supplier. You have paid part of its value, so the rest stays on that supplier’s balance, and each item’s cost is as you entered it.

Stop 2: Some go to the branch

You move part of the quantity from one location to another, so each location keeps its own balance.

Stop 3: A service with an invoice

The service goes out on a cash or credit sales invoice, with a quantity and a price on every line, so you see what was collected and what the customer still owes.

Stop 4: Part settled, part left

The company pays a share of the credit invoice, so you record a partial payment against it, and the customer statement and the customer ageing report show the balance it still has.

Stop 5: The revenue shows

Service revenue shows in the income statement, which is one of the preset reports in Qoyod.

3. Accounting Software for Hospitals in Jordan: what Qoyod covers in your hospital

E-invoicing and accounting, integrated in one system. Six everyday jobs Qoyod covers in your hospital follow.

Services with their prices

Each service you provide becomes a service item in Qoyod, with its price, tax and code, and goes onto cash or credit sales invoices. Each item’s tax is set on its card, according to what applies to it.

Supplies with their balances

Each supply is a product in Qoyod with a code and a purchase price, and its balance and movements show per location. During a stock count, a barcode reader speeds up adding items.

Hospital suppliers

Record purchase invoices from your suppliers, and follow each supplier’s balance and your payments to it, with the supplier ageing report for what you owe.

Accounts for companies

Record credit sales to the companies you work with, and follow their balances in the customer statement and the customer ageing report.

Stores and branches

Set up each store or branch as a location in Qoyod, move supplies between locations, and give each user permissions by location.

Your items from Excel

Excel templates bring in your items, opening balances, suppliers and stock counts.

7. Frequently asked questions

Does a hospital have to issue invoices through the National Invoicing System (JoFotara)?

A seller that is not registered issues an income invoice. Mandatory application has been in force since 1 April 2025, with oversight steadily tightening. If a business is not required to issue invoices, does that mean it pays no sales tax?

Not by itself. An exemption from the provisions of the Invoicing Regulation, where one applies, does not on its own exempt anyone from General Sales Tax or income tax, each of which has its own law. Check your tax position with your accountant.

Does Qoyod manage patient files and appointments, or connect to the hospital’s own system?

Qoyod is accounting software. This page shows invoices for services and supplies, suppliers, customer accounts and the preset reports. Patient files, appointments, ward admissions and a link to the hospital’s own system are outside what we show here, so ask sales what suits your hospital.

Does Qoyod track the expiry dates and batch numbers of supplies?

No. Qoyod has no tracking of batch numbers or expiry dates. What it offers is each item’s balance and movements in every location, and a periodic stock count that shows slow-moving stock before it expires. The expiry date is read from the packaging.

Does Qoyod apply a special price for each company I work with?

No. Qoyod has no custom price lists and no price per customer, and the service price you enter is a default. Your options are to edit the line price on the invoice itself, or to set up the agreed service as its own item with its own price.

A company pays in parts. How do I follow its balance?

Record the credit sale and then every partial payment against the invoice, and the customer statement and the customer ageing report will show the balance left on that company.

That completes the hospital’s accounts: stores, suppliers, services and the balances of the companies it bills on account. It answers the question we started with.
