Services you provide, supplies you buy, and clear accounts.
Whether your clinic is exempt from the invoicing mandate today or required to issue invoices, its services, supplies and suppliers have clear accounts, in one set of books.
Accounting software for clinics in Jordan starts with one question: how much is still owed to you by your patients, and how much do you still owe your suppliers? In a clinic or medical centre, from Amman to Irbid, the numbers are spread across supplier invoices, reception sheets and an accounts notebook. Add each service you provide to Qoyod with its price and tax, and each supply item as a product with its code and purchase price.
1. A day in a clinic
Before you choose accounting software for your medical clinic, look at where your numbers sit today: supplier invoices, reception sheets and a list of who has not paid.
Supplies run out without warning
A box of gloves or gauze runs out, and nobody knows until the doctor asks for it.
With Qoyod: set a reorder level for each item in each location, and follow stock status on the dashboard.
Service prices on a sheet of paper
The prices of consultations and procedures sit on a sheet at reception, and every employee quotes a different number.
With Qoyod: add each service you provide to Qoyod as a service item with its price and tax, and bill it on a sales invoice.
What patients still owe
A patient pays part of the bill and promises the rest, and those balances live in the staff’s memory.
With Qoyod: record partial payments, and follow what each customer still owes in the customer statement.
What do you still owe the supplier?
Supplies come from more than one supplier, and the balances sit in the suppliers’ own statements.
With Qoyod: see each supplier’s balance, and what you have paid, in one place.
2. A visit’s journey through your clinic
Supplies, a service and an invoice: five stops, one new number on the visit card at each.
Stop 1: Supplies arrive
Your supplies arrive on a purchase invoice, which you record under the supplier. You paid part of it, so the rest stays on the supplier’s balance, and each item’s cost is as you entered it.
Stop 2: A service with its price
The service is added as a service item with its price and tax, and with its own code.
Stop 3: An invoice is issued
Issue cash and credit sales invoices from Qoyod, and follow what you have collected and what your customers still owe.
Stop 4: Part collected, part left
Record partial payments against a credit sales invoice, and follow what each customer still owes in the customer statement and the ageing report.
Stop 5: The revenue shows
The service’s revenue shows in the income statement, from the preset reports in Qoyod.
3. Accounting Software for Clinics in Jordan: what Qoyod covers in your clinic
E-invoicing and accounting, integrated in one system. Here are six more jobs Qoyod covers in your clinic or medical centre.
Services with their prices
Add each service you provide to Qoyod as a service item with its price and tax, and bill it on a sales invoice, with supplies or on its own. Set each item’s tax on its product card according to what applies to it.
Supplies and stock
Add each item to Qoyod as a product with its code, purchase price and selling price, and follow its balance and movements in every location. Use a barcode reader during a stock count to add items quickly.
Suppliers and their balances
Record purchase invoices from your suppliers, and follow each supplier’s balance and what you have paid.
Patient accounts
Record credit sales to your customers, and follow their balances in the customer statement and the ageing report.
Branches and locations
Add your locations, transfer stock between them, and set each user’s permissions by location.
Your items from Excel
Import items, opening balances, suppliers and stock counts from Excel templates.
4. Clinics and the National Invoicing System
Discuss your clinic’s position with your accountant.
Who must use e-invoicing in Jordan
Whether your clinic is exempt from the invoicing mandate or required to issue invoices, Qoyod keeps the books for your stock, purchases and cash, and it is integrated with the National Invoicing System (JoFotara) for when you need it.
5. Your accountant shares the decision
If you work with an accountant or an accounting firm, their view on accounting software comes before your decision. The question “is my activity exempt from the invoicing mandate?” belongs with your accountant and the Department. The books belong in Qoyod.

7. Frequently asked questions
Does a clinic or medical centre have to issue invoices through the National Invoicing System (JoFotara)?
The e-invoicing mandate covers every seller of goods or provider of services, not only those registered for General Sales Tax, except for activities that the Invoicing Affairs Instructions exempt under set conditions. A seller that is not registered issues an income invoice. Mandatory application has been in force since 1 April 2025, with oversight steadily tightening. Clinics and medical centres do not appear by name in the list in Article (4) of the Invoicing Affairs Instructions. Other sectors were added to the list by later amendments, so it is not a closed list. Check the text in force for your activity with the Income and Sales Tax Department.

If a business is not required to issue invoices, does that mean it pays no sales tax?
Not by itself. An exemption from the provisions of the Invoicing Regulation, where one applies, does not on its own exempt anyone from General Sales Tax or income tax, each of which has its own law. Check your tax position with your accountant.
Does Qoyod manage patient appointments and medical files?
No. Qoyod is accounting software, and it does not manage appointments or medical files. What it offers is invoices for services and supplies, suppliers, customer accounts and the preset reports.
Does Qoyod track the expiry dates of medical supplies?
No. Qoyod has no tracking of batch numbers or expiry dates. What it offers is each item’s balance and movements in every location, and a periodic stock count that shows slow-moving stock before it expires. The expiry date is read from the packaging.
How do I add my clinic’s services and their prices?
Add each service you provide to Qoyod as a service item with its price and tax, and bill it on a sales invoice, with supplies or on its own. The price you enter is a default, and you can change it on the invoice.
A patient paid part of the bill. How do I follow the rest?
Record partial payments against a credit sales invoice, and follow what each customer still owes in the customer statement and the ageing report.

That completes the clinic’s accounts: its services, its supplies, its suppliers and what its patients still owe, and that answers your first question.
