Solution

Everything you need for compliant e-invoicing — native inside Qoyod

Six integrated capabilities — approved XML, QR, digital signature, real-time submission, status tracking, and B2B/B2C support.

Issue an invoice in ZATCA's official format (XML)

Qoyod builds the UBL 2.1 / ZATCA-compliant XML file automatically — every field in the right place, with no input from you.

QR code embedded automatically

Every invoice ships with a QR code carrying ZATCA's required fields ([qy_country key="tax_label"] number, date, total, [qy_country key="tax_label"], and hash).

Approved digital signature (Cryptographic Stamp)

Every invoice is digitally signed with the certificate tied to your business, ensuring data integrity and tamper-proof records.

Real-time send to Fatoora

The invoice is sent in real time to the official Fatoora platform for Clearance or Reporting — with no downloads or manual uploads.

Track each invoice's status

A clear status for every invoice — sent, approved, or rejected — with ZATCA's rejection reason shown. Because a rejected e-invoice can't be resent, Qoyod handles the correct fix: for standard tax invoices it auto-issues a linked credit note; for simplified invoices you issue one, then re-issue a corrected invoice.

Tax and simplified invoice support

Qoyod issues both types together: B2B tax invoices via Clearance, and B2C simplified invoices via Reporting — automatically based on the customer type.

How it works

Four steps between you and a ZATCA-approved invoice

No change to how you work — Qoyod handles every compliance step behind the scenes.

1

Create your invoice in Qoyod as usual

Pick the customer, add items, calculate [qy_country key="tax_label"] — exactly as you do today. No extra steps.

2

Qoyod builds XML + QR + the digital signature

Behind the scenes, the approved XML is built, the hash is computed, and the QR is generated alongside the digital signature — automatically.

3

Real-time submission to Fatoora

Qoyod sends the invoice to ZATCA instantly — Clearance for tax invoices, Reporting for simplified — and gets a response within seconds.

4

Receive your approved invoice ready to go

Certified PDF/A-3 with embedded XML — ready to send to the customer, signed, compliant, and recorded in your account.

FAQs

Have some questions?

Quick answers to what business owners ask most about e-invoicing.

What exactly is Phase 2? +
It's the mandatory phase enforced by ZATCA that requires direct, real-time linking of every invoice with the Fatoora platform — with an approved XML, a digital signature, and a QR code on every invoice. It differs from Phase 1, which was limited to issuing invoices electronically without direct linking.
Is Qoyod officially ZATCA-certified? +
Yes. Qoyod is officially ZATCA-certified and meets every Phase 2 e-invoicing requirement.
Does the system support both tax and simplified invoices? +
Yes. Qoyod issues both types automatically: tax invoices (B2B) via the Clearance flow, and simplified invoices (B2C) via the Reporting flow — based on the customer type set in the system.
What if ZATCA rejects an invoice? +
The invoice appears in the status dashboard as "Rejected," with ZATCA's rejection reason shown clearly. A rejected e-invoice can't be edited or re-sent — the correction is always made through a credit note plus a new, corrected invoice. For a standard tax invoice, Qoyod creates and links the credit note automatically; for a simplified tax invoice, you issue the credit note manually, fix the error, then re-issue the invoice.
Do I need a special digital certificate? +
You need a CSID certificate issued by ZATCA and tied to your [qy_country key="tax_label"] number. Qoyod guides you step by step to obtain and activate it inside the system, and renews it for you automatically when needed.
When should I start applying it? +
Today. Phase 2 rolls out in waves based on your business size and annual revenue, and ZATCA notifies you of your compliance date six months ahead. Waiting saves nothing — starting early ensures a calm transition without pressure.
